When I started yoga I never envisioned myself becoming a teacher, honestly I thought it'd be something I'd only try a few times, but things change. It's still not my ultimate dream or plan, to be a yoga teacher, but as my life evolves I've found it to be a great compliment to my nomad tendencies. Lucky for me, I was born in America speaking English, which means I can get a job 'teaching' in a laundry list of countries throughout the world. Not wanting that to be my only option though, I discovered Yoga teaching as a way to share one passion while supporting another. Yoga is blowing up in popularity across the world, which is great news for those of us wanting to teach it. Websites like Yoga Trade, Workaway, Facebook groups and even Couchsurfing are all outlets to finding these jobs, but if that fails, creating your own opportunity is not out of the question. I've volunteered in Cambodia and created classes in Korea, and now as I prepare to embark on more travel I can't wait to see how else I can work teaching into my routine.
